   2nd Lieutenant Morely R. Hill was born in Big Beaver, Oakland County, Michigan on November 10th, 1916. Morely volunteered for Army service on October 15th 1940, two months before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, in the Territory of Hawaii.
